Preschool Pride 

Like a lion pride that cares for a group of cubs, we are excited to spend some time with you and your little one!

This class is for 2-4 year olds and their adult. Our classes are student led and designed to help them discover and learn through play. In each class we will sing our preschool song, read a story, have play and exploration time then learn about an animal at the zoo. 

The Nose Knows:

Animals have all sorts of super sniffers, and we will learn all about them as we sniff out more information about animals sense of smell.  

We acknowledge that in early childhood, the empathy children feel for animals is best nurtured through play. Children learn the most when they have options when it comes to activities they want to participate in. We encourage you to follow your child’s lead and join in the child-directed play.

Sibling Policy (NEW 2025): This program is intended for preschoolers ages 2-4 and their adult. Your child must be accompanied by  one adult. Any siblings who attend must also be registered for the class. We have made exceptions in the past for non-mobile infants. Any child that is mobile that is not registered for the class or within the age range of the class should not attend.
