Join us for Winter Zoo Camp: Call of the Wild on 12/22/25

This topic is geared toward campers ages 6 to 10 and is meeting in the Frog Pond classroom. 

Calling all animal lovers! Humans have an elaborate system of languages, but many animals have a language all their own! Animals can "talk" with chirps, clicks, smells, or even vibrations - there are so many creative ways to communicate! Join us to learn all about the call of the wild!

Campers enjoy daily animal experiences or behind-the-scenes opportunities while facing scientific challenges that put the campers in the shoes of keepers, vets, or zoo administrators and motivate campers to seek the information to solve real-life problems. Campers leave Zoo Camp with a greater awareness for the individual animals at the zoo and how to help animals in the wild, all while building their science skills and making new friends. 

Winter Camp is single-day registration. You can register for all 5 days, or just pick your favorite days or topics.  

Camp drop off is from 8:00 to 8:30 am. Camp activities are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.. Pick up is from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
